Beloved of home and country, Medical College: Dev Anand’s last rites on Wednesday
Kerala: The last rites of MBBS student Devanand (19), who died in a car accident in Alappuzha, will be held at his family premises in Mattakkara, Kottayam on Wednesday. Devanand is the younger son of Binuraj-Ranjimol, who stay in Kottakkal, Malappuram for work.
The body was brought to his father’s house in Poovakulam on the other side. The last rites will be held on Wednesday. 2 Five MBBS students, including Devanand, died in an accident between a KSRTC bus and a car in Kalarkode yesterday.
Devanand’s body was brought to Mattakkara at 3 pm on Tuesday after the public darshan at Vandanam Medical College. Father Binuraj is a teacher at MAM UP School in Kottakkal, Malappuram.
Amma Ranjimol is an officer in the Commercial Tax Department in Malappuram. Brother Devadatta is a third year MBBS student in Pondicherry. Binuraj’s parents, Narayanpillai, Thangamma, Binuraj’s brothers and family live in the family house at Mattakkara Poovakulam.
