Beggar beaten to death in Lashkar area of Pune
Maharashtra: An incident of a beggar being beaten to death has come to light in Lashkar area. The beggar who was killed has not been identified. In this case, Bundgarden police has registered a case against a person. The age of the beggar who was killed is about 60 years. A case has been registered against a person in this case. Assistant Police Inspector Arjun Mohite has lodged a complaint in this regard at Bundgarden Police Station. According to the police, beggars sleep at night on the footpath in front of Nehru Memorial Hall in Lashkar area. The 60-year-old beggar who has been killed used to sleep there. Another beggar also used to sleep there. On Thursday morning, there was an altercation between the two. After that, the beggar was beaten fiercely with sticks. The beggar was seriously injured in the beating. In the morning, the beggar was found dead on the footpath. The search for the accused who absconded after killing the beggar is on and Police Sub Inspector Dheeraj Gupta is investigating.
