Before Lok Sabha elections, DK Shivakumar visited the shrine of Kukke Subramaniam
On Tuesday, prayers were offered at Manjunatha temple and Kukke Subramanya temple in Dakshina Kannada.
Speaking to media persons at Dharmasthala, he said, “This time before starting ‘Dharma Yudh’ I visited Dharmasthala Manjunath and Annappa Swamy.”
“During every election, I seek blessings of Lord Manjuntha. Lord Manjunath is blessing me,” he said.
On the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, DK Shivakumar said, ‘We have fulfilled all the five promises made to the public. Congress has worked as per the promise made during the assembly elections. We will go before the voters to further strengthen our hands. We have done our work. Now voters will decide.
“Women are traveling in free buses and visiting pilgrimage sites. We are confident that people will remember us when they vote,” he said.
“I am confident in our guarantee. Congress will win the Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka,” he told media persons in Subramaniam.
On the question of suspected Naxalites in Subramaniam, he said, “We will discuss with the officials. I will talk to the deputy commissioner,” he said.
