Barabati Stadium all set to host India and England on February 9, here is a list of preparations for the match
Cuttack: The India and England one day Match at Barabati Stadium is all set to be played on February 9, 2025. The preparations at the stadium is underway at war footing. According to the stadium authorities, 80 percent of the preparation work is complete.
The work for the lounge to seat the Chief Minister and for the legendary cricketer is in progress. The nets tied with the help of bamboos will no longer be a hindrance for the general audience. The bamboos will not be done away with in the gallery. The net will be tied with the help of cables. The audience will be able to watch the match with more clarity.
In a first at Barabati Stadium, radium stickers will be put in the gallery. These sticker will help the audience in getting their seat number easily. For the first time ever the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will use anti-retardant fire spray. It will be sprayed on cloth, wood and other flammable materials. The spray will be used a day before the match. The spray will prevent fire from spreading quickly.

Further, it is worth mentioning that the selling of tickets for general spectators for the will be sold on February 5 and February 6, 2025. As per reports, the ticket counters will not be kept on the main road side of the stadium. Rather, the counters will be shifted inside so that traffic issue does not arises.
Special arrangements will be made for women ticket buyers. A special queue will be there for women. There will be one female counter in every three male counters. A total of six ticket counters will be opened to sell tickets. Tickets for the upcoming match will be sold starting from the end of this month.
