Bail petition of Raja Chakra rejected by Keonjhar SDJM Court, see details here

Keonjhar: Raja Chakra’s bail has been rejected. The Keonjhar SDJM Court rejected Raja Chakra’s bail in case number GR 645/25 on Saturday said reports.

According to reports, he appeared in the SDJM Court in a total of three cases. He was already on interim bail in two cases, the same had been granted by the Orissa High Court.

On May 16, the Economic Offence Wing (EOW) has initiated the process to confiscate the luxurious farmhouse of Raja Chakra, located in Gopalpur Mouza of Keonjhar district in Odisha.

The farmhouse has been built on 11.1 acres of land out of which 7.4 acres are government land.

According to reports, Raja Chakra had built the luxurious farm house on 11.1 acres of land out of which 7.4 acres are government land, which includes a children’s park, a luxurious bungalow, high arches, a mango orchard, a pond, Konark Chakra, and several statues.

The farmhouse also boasts a luxurious cottage, party house, and all-terrain bikes while costly coloured fishes are there in the pond. Earlier EOW has conducted raids at the opulent farm house. Now, the measurements are being done with the help of the local administration.

On the other hand, the interim charge sheet of the Raja Chakra case has already been filed in the Court with several influential individuals coming under the scanner. The EOW Superintendent of Police has stated that the other culprits will soon be arrested.

Raja Chakra is a name associated with controversy and allegations of corruption in Odisha. Recently, his luxurious farmhouse in Keonjhar has been under scrutiny for alleged encroachment of government land. The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) has taken action, including raids and seizures, as part of an ongoing investigation into irregularities and corruption charges linked to Raja Chakra.
