Badamatam teacher missing since June 27, search continues

DARJEELING : Forty-one-year-old Bishnumani Rai, a resident of the Badmatam area of Darjeeling, has been missing for the past 10 days. A missing diary has been lodged at the Darjeeling Sadar Police Station.
Rai, a teacher at Badmatam School, has been the subject of extensive searches by his family members across different parts of the Hills as well as other parts of the country.
Family members suspect that he may have travelled to Sikkim. Through a press release, they have appealed to the public in Sikkim to assist in the search. Anyone with information may contact 9733278397 or 7002632350.
According to the missing diary, Bishnumani Rai had left his residence at around 9 am on June 27 to visit his in-laws’ house but never reached the destination. His mobile phone has also remained unreachable since then.
