Ayushmann Khurrana’s Punjabi-pop fusion number ‘Ratan Kaliyan’ out
Mumbai (IANS). Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has collaborated with ‘Pani Da Rang’ composer Rochak Kohli on a new track ‘Ratan Kaliyan’.
It is a Punjabi-pop fusion number, with lyrics penned by Gurpreet Saini and Gautam Sharma. Ayushmann’s voice adds a whole new dimension to the track. The music video of the song has been directed by Dar Guy.
Talking about the song, Ayushmann said, “I hope this song touches people’s hearts and finds a place in people’s playlists. It has always been a pleasure working with my childhood friend Rochak Kohli. “
He further mentioned, “When it comes to music, his name is the first one that comes to mind. He is extremely passionate and versatile. He has put in a lot of effort in this composition. I am looking forward to adding another special song to our discography.” Thrilled to collaborate with him once again.”
Lyricist Gurpreet Saini shared that the team wanted to create a song that would appeal to everyone experiencing the pain of separation.
Lyricist Gautam Sharma said, “‘Ratan Kaliyan’ is a beautiful tune and I hope listeners feel the same emotions that the team has tried to put in and connect deeply with the song.”
