Avalanche hits Manali-Leh road, movement of vehicles halted, road restoration work underway

Manali. An avalanche has occurred near Dhundhi, the first snow gallery on the Manali-Leh National Highway-003. The Manali-Leh road has been closed for vehicular movement due to avalanches and snowfall. At the same time, due to the avalanche, a lot of debris has come on the road. BRO machinery has started the work of road restoration. There has been snowfall on the route even during the night. Due to which the road has been closed for the movement of vehicles.
