Attempted theft in Pooja shop, Kotwali police arrested the vicious

Dhamtari. The Kotwali police have arrested the accused who attempted theft in a mobile and worship material shop located in Itwari Bazar. Police said that on the report of Omprakash Sahu, crime number: 175/2023 was registered under section 457,380,511 of IPC in police station Kotwali and taken into consideration.

On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur for prompt action, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Megha Tembhurkar Sahu, under the guidance of DSP K Vajpayee, the police station in-charge Kotwali, while taking prompt action, took the accused into custody and accepted the theft on strict questioning during deliberations. But a piece of iron rod used in the theft incident and the broken lock of Govinda mobile shop were seized by the police after being presented by the accused. The accused was duly arrested on 05.06.23 and is being sent on judicial remand.
