Attempt to rape a minor, case registered under POCSO Act

Banbasa. In Banbasa, a shopkeeper tried to rape a minor girl by giving her intoxicants, police registered a case under POCSO Act. An attempt has been made to rape a minor by a shopkeeper in Banbasa. In the matter, the police have registered a case against the accused and handed over the investigation to the Anti Human Trafficking Unit. A woman resident of Banbasa area has filed a complaint in the police station saying that her 13-year-old daughter had gone to the shop of accused Heera Chand to buy goods at 8:30 am on February 23. It is alleged that the shopkeeper took his daughter to another room and tried to rape her by giving her intoxicants.
