Ather Rizta Scooter Pre-Bookings Start Ahead Of Debut In India, Know Specs And Expected Price

Ather Rizta is all set to be unveiled on April 6, 2024 on the Ather Community Day. The company has started the pre-bookings of the family scooter and interested buyers have to pay a token amount of Rs 999 for it. The scooter will have a first-in-segment anti-skid feature. The electric family scooter was seen on multiple occasions during testing.

With the Ather Rizta, the company is targeting the family-oriented customers in the country. The electric scooter has been spotted while testing on multiple occasions. The scooter gets a first-in-segment anti-skid feature, which is not available on other scooters in its range. The Ather Rizta rivals with the likes of Ola S1X, Ola S1 Air, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube.

Some of the important features of the scooter that are noteworthy to mention are larger floorboard, extended wheelbase, larger under seat storage. These features are expected to ease everyday issues of the buyers. There is also an availability of long single seat, which offer ample space for not only the rider but also the pillion.

When it comes to equipment, the electric scooter offers LED headlamp cluster, coloured TFT instrument cluster, which is also borrowed from the 450X. The other features include navigation, smartphone connectivity with call and SMS alerts, ride modes, OTA update, fast charging etc. There is also availability of regenerative braking and concealed belt final drive on the scooter.

The scooter is expected to be offered at a price of around Rs 1.20 lakh to Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). This scooter is a good option for those who are willing to look for a scooter that can replace their traditional ICE scooter. Speaking about the functions of the scooter it is expected that the scooter will have fewer functions as compared to the 450X. In terms of the real world range of the scooter, it is expected that the scooter will offer 100-110 km on a single full charge.
