Asus Chromebook CX14, CX15 laptops launched; Gets Intel Celeron processor
Asus has launched its latest series of laptops and they are Chromebook CX14 and Chromebook CX15 series. The company also offers Chromebook Plus CX14 and CX15 models and they are powered by Intel Core 3 N355 CPUs. Both the models get options for 14-inch and 15-inch screen size options.
Asus Chromebook CX14, CX15 Series
The Asus Chromebook CX14 gets a 14.0-inch full HD IPS screen that offers 300 nits of peak brightness. The display offers 45 percent NTSC colour gamut coverage. The Chromebook CX15 on the other hand offers 15.6-inch full HD screen but same specifications. Both the laptops have Intel Celeron Processor N4500 that is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. On the other hand, the device gets up to 256GB of eMMC storage. For security purposes, the models get Titan C security chip.
In terms of connectivity options, the Chromebooks get USB 3.2 Gen 1with Type-C port with Display Port 1.2 support, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Kensington Lock and much more. The laptops get 42Wh and 50Wh batteries along with USB Type-C charging.
The Chromebook Plus CX14 and CX15 models are powered by Intel Core 3 N355 processor. The devices get Intel UHD Graphics and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The on-board storage is up to 256GB of on-board eMMC storage. The devices get Wi-Fi 6E.
When it comes to Chromebook Plus laptops, they offer 12 months of the Google One AI Premium plan, 2TB of cloud storage, and integrated AI tools. The pricing of the Chromebook CX14 and CX15 laptops has not been revealed yet.
