Assembly Election Security Mission: Call for ex-servicemen

Tamil Nadu: The district administration has called ex-servicemen to participate in security operations for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Chennai District Magistrate Rashmi Siddharth Jagade issued a press release stating: “It has been decided to deploy ex-servicemen as special constables in the security operations for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.”

Therefore, healthy former junior army officers and other rank ex-servicemen under the age of 65 from the Chennai district can apply.
