Jagityala : The dry season has arrived. Unlike before, even now during the Nattenda period, ponds, ponds and wells have become full of water. As a result, children and youth are running towards them regardless of whether they are rural or urban. They are swimming and frolicking. Some to beat the summer heat, some to learn to swim, some to have fun. After the announcement of school holidays, swimming has become a part of the students’ games. However, in some cases a swimming excursion leads to tragedy. That water that spread entertainment.. is pushing into darkness. Children who swim like fish in the water and jump. Their parents, who had high hopes, are left with grief. Tens of lives are lost every year due to lack of knowledge about water, not being able to stop the excitement while peers are swimming, getting into the water even though they are not good at swimming, swimming in running water, experimenting in the name of swimming in ponds, wells and canals, getting electrocuted by touching the wires placed for fishing. Precautions need to be taken to prevent this from happening.
