Arunachal: KVK organizes awareness program

PATIWA: East Kameng Krishi Vigyan Kendra organized an awareness-cum-training programme on ‘Khet Bachao Abhiyan’ at Patiwa village, targeting the farming communities of Patiwa and Koto villages on Wednesday.

The programme focused on equipping local farmers with sustainable soil health management practices, the promotion of natural farming, and the balanced use of fertilizers to mitigate soil degradation.

The event witnessed active participation from local farmers who gained knowledge from a team of KVK agricultural scientists on adopting climate-resilient technologies, organic composting, and scientific crop rotation to boost long-term crop productivity while preserving the pristine environment of East Kameng.
