Arunachal: Inter-school meet begins in Lungla

Arunachal: The third inter-school meet, 2025 of Lungla subdivision began at GHSS in West Kameng district on Wednesday. Over 300 students from 16 schools are participating in the meet this year. The meet includes a variety of sports, literary and cultural activities, sponsored by Lungla ZPM Thutton Tashi and Zemithang-Dudungar ZPM Lek Norbu. Addressing the students on the occasion, Lungla MLA Tsering Lhamu said sports instill the value of discipline, promote unity and brotherhood. The MLA, while encouraging the students to play sports, also advised them to focus on their regular studies. He hoped that the meet would provide a much-needed platform to the students to showcase their talents. The meet is being organised by the Education Department in collaboration with the Lungla administration.
