Arunachal: GST awareness program organized in Bomdila.

BOMDILA: A two-day intensive GST awareness program, organized by the CGST Bhalukpong range, in close coordination with the SGST Bomdila division, concluded here in West Kameng district on Wednesday. The programme is a part of a continuing regional tax outreach campaign. Earlier, similar awareness drive was conducted in Seppa on 4 and 5 June.
During the programme, expert sessions focused on crucial aspects of tax compliance, including Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Tax Collected at Source (TCS), Input Tax Credit (ITC), and the fundamentals of basic GST registration.
The sessions were led by a team of dedicated officials, including Bhalukpong CGST inspectors Chandan Kumar, Samir Shankar, and Vishal Singh Rana, alongside assistant commissioner of SGST Bomdila, Tsang Norbu Thongdok.
A renowned chartered accountant from Tezpur, Ankit Setia joined the technical sessions as the special faculty to provide deep technical insights.
During interactive session, the local traders, entrepreneurs and officials cleared their doubts directly with the experts.
