Arunachal: DA seizes illegally caught local fish from the market

AALO: The West Siang district administration has confiscated locally caught fishes, which were being sold in local markets while enforcing an order issued last month banning all kinds of fishing activities in the district.

The operation was jointly carried out by Town Magistrate (DM) Jumkar Karbi and OC Inspector Yomken Riram to ensure compliance with the order issued by the DM in May.

The seized fishes were disposed of in front of the district magistrate to ensure strict compliance with the order.
