Arunachal: Army organises youth empowerment programme

LIKABALI: The Indian Army’s Spearhead Division organised a youth empowerment programme under ‘Project Navbharat’ here in Lower Siang district on Sunday.
The event aimed to motivate and inspire the local community, especially the youths, to become responsible citizens contributing towards a Viksit Bharat.
More than 250 students, along with teachers from Likabali and neighbouring Silapathar area,participated in the programme.
The primary objective of the initiative was to foster national integration and instil a deep sense of patriotism among the younger generation. The participants engaged in a series of motivational activities, including specialised lectures and documentary screenings showcasing the rigorous training, discipline, bravery, and sacrifices of Indian Army personnel.
The sessions highlighted inspiring stories of heroism and selfless service, encouraging students to contribute positively to society and embrace the spirit of national service. The event also provided attendees with an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the Indian Army’s preparedness, operational capabilities, and dedication to safeguarding the nation.
Adding to the excitement, a comprehensive static display of modern weapons and military equipment drew immense curiosity and admiration from the visiting students.
Project Navbharat concluded on a high note, significantly strengthening the bond between civilians and the armed forces. By showcasing the Indian Army’s core values of courage, discipline, and dedication, the initiative left a lasting impression on the youths, inspiring pride, purpose, and a deeper sense of national responsibility.
