Arunachal: 397 DDU-GKY candidates received job offer letters.

ITANAGAR: A total of 397 trained candidates received job offer letters from reputed companies during a ‘career counselling-cum-job offer letter distribution programme’ under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), organised here by the Arunachal Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) on Friday.

Addressing the participants, ArSRLM State Mission Manager (Placement and Mobilisation) Nabam Ompilauded the efforts of employers and project implementing agencies (PIAs) in achieving this milestone.

She emphasised the importance of fostering strong and mutually beneficial relationships between employers and employees to ensure sustainable growth.

ICR Deputy Commissioner Toko Babu, who inaugurated the programme, encouraged the youths to pursue their career aspirations with dedication, acquire relevant skills, and actively contribute to the development of the state.

The offer letters were distributed to candidates selected for placement in leading organisations,including Gokuldas Exports Pvt Ltd, Revermist Resorts, Clarks Inn, Papaya Tree, Flechazo, Hotel Regalia, Corinthians Resorts, Adani Group, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd, Soge Restro, Hotel Donyi Polo, and Hotel Todo.

The selected candidates will be placed across diverse locations, including Karnataka, Goa, Dehradun, Indore, Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Pune, and Itanagar, thereby opening doors to a wide range of career opportunities.

The event also featured garment design displays, cultural performances, and experience-sharing sessions by DDU-GKY candidates.

The ArSRLM chief operating officer (skills)reiterated the organisation’s commitment to bridging the gap between skilled youths and employment opportunities. He highlighted the importance of leveraging Arunachal’s demographic dividend to drive economic growth, and appreciated the efforts of the placement teams under the DDU-GKY and the PIAs.
