Artisans protest wearing hats in Gandhian style
Zaheerabad: Zaheerabad Division JAC leaders Jaipal, Santosh and Rajappa demanded that the problems of the artisans in the power company be resolved. On the third day of the strike, on Friday, the workers protested at the electricity department divisional office in Zaheerabad town on Gandhi Road wearing caps.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that those working as engineers in the power company should be given conversion based on their educational qualifications. They said that they have been struggling for several years with meager wages and demanded that the government should announce a special PRC for them.
They made it clear that they will participate in the strike until the issue is resolved. JAC leaders Rajesh, Rajappa, Mogulappa, Satyandhar Reddy, Vishnu, Bakkanna and others participated in this program.
