Arms smuggler arrested, used to buy weapons from MP for 15 hundred, sold for 3 to 5 thousand, 3 pistols recovered

Noida (IANS) | Noida’s Sector 39 police station has arrested an accused with illegal weapons. Police have recovered 3 pistols .315 bore, 4 live cartridges .315 bore from his possession. He used to bring pistols from Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh and sell them at a high price. When he reached Noida for smuggling, the police caught him.

Sector 39 police station was getting confidential information that a person is roaming in suspicious condition in the police station area, acting on the basis of local intelligence and confidential information, police station Sector 39 Noida police arrested accused Om Prakash Sharma s/o Ram with illegal pistols. Swaroop Sharma resident of village Jalalpur police station Tappal district Aligarh age 25 years has been arrested from Sector-44 cut.

On in-depth inquiry, the accused told that I and my partner Kalu Jat, who is a resident of Aligarh. We both go to Khadwa, Madhya Pradesh and buy a pistol from a person named Manish. We buy a pistol for Rs.1500 and sell it for Rs.3000-4500. In police interrogation, he has told that he had come to Noida for the first time with a pistol and was caught by the police. Earlier, he used to supply pistols by going to different districts of Madhya Pradesh and other states. The police is trying to trace its old history. Police is also trying to find out that where and how many pistols have been supplied in this before.
