APTET-2025 results declared; Lokesh congratulated the winners.

Vijayawada: Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday declared the results of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) and congratulated the successful candidates through a social media post.
The results are available on the official website tet2dsc.apcfss.in and on WhatsApp number 9552300009. Of the 2,48,427 candidates who appeared for the exam, 97,560 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 39.27 percent – the lowest in recent APTET history.
“The state government conducted the AP Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) for October 2025. I am happy to release the results,” Lokesh said.
The examination was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from December 10 to 21, 2025, with 271,692 applications received across four categories. The highest number of applications were for School Assistant (Regular) posts, with 1,59,146 candidates, followed by School Graduate Teachers (SGT) Regular with 1,06,747 applications.

Serving teachers performed relatively better, with 15,239 out of 31,886 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 47.82 percent.
Compared to previous examinations, the October 2025 APTET saw a significant drop in the pass percentage. The pass rate was 57.48 percent in the May 2018 exam, 58.07 percent in August 2022, 58.4 percent in February 2024, and 50.79 percent in July 2024.
