Applications invited under ‘Shiksha Setu Yojana’

Shiksha Setu Yojana is being run for enrollment for free secondary (10th) and higher secondary (12th) examination through Rajasthan State Open School for girls who have dropped out of schools and are deprived of formal education due to any reason. Under which minimum 14 year old girl is enrolled for 10th standard and minimum 15 year old girl is enrolled for 12th class free of cost. Once registered, there are 9 chances to clear the exam for five years. Under the scheme, the admission fee for secondary examination is Rs.1225, for re-admission/partial admission/ITI, registration and examination fee is Rs.530 and for higher secondary examination, Rs.1475 and Rs.590 respectively, the expenses are borne by the Women and Child Development Department. Along with this, the department also bears the practical subject fee, theoretical subject fee, forwarding fee. Assistant Director Women’s Empowerment Department Vishwa Dev Pandey told that from July 01 to August 31, the reference centers of N.U.M.V. Registration can be done by visiting City Kotwali Dholpur, Rajkheda, Saipau, Basedi, Bari. After that late fee will be payable.
