AP High Court gives key orders to TTD in Parakamani calculation

Tirumala: The AP High Court has issued key orders to the Tirumala and Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and officials. The High Court, which is specially investigating the theft incident in Parakamani, issued several orders and suggestions to the TTD on Friday. It has been revealed that human intervention should be reduced in counting the gifts and AI (Artificial Intelligence) and state-of-the-art machines should be used for this.
It suggested that reforms should be undertaken in two phases to curb thefts in Parakamani. It clarified that immediate and permanent plans should be formulated. It said that a report should be submitted within two weeks on security measures in hundi sealing, transportation and counting. It said that AI should be used to classify gifts and identify foreign currency, and a state-of-the-art system should be set up to separate precious metals.
The next hearing was adjourned to the 26th of this month, directing it to prepare and submit a draft within 8 weeks. The High Court ordered the ACB to place before it within a week, in a sealed cover, the details of the sales and registration of the properties of accused Ravikumar and his family members.
