It is being told that the fire broke out near the sub station behind ECR-1. After the fire the entire mill area is in darkness. The team of Plant Control, Electrical and Fire Brigade is standing at the spot. Smoke is visible far away. There is chaos. It is being claimed that the fire broke out due to short circuit in the mill.

There is no official information about this from the management. There was an accident in Bar and Wire Rod Mill BRM on Sunday also. The magnet of crane number 113 in Bar and Rod Mill-BRM had moved forward, hitting the shift room. The impact was so strong that the workers sitting inside were frightened. The cooler installed on the upper floor broke due to the impact and went inside. However, there was no loss of life.
