Angul: Six turn critical after eating mushroom, admitted to hospital

Angul: As many as two children and four women turned critical after consuming mushrooms in Angul district of Odisha on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Dhubuninanda village in Kantimili Panchayat under Hindol police station limits.
After they complained the health issues, the victims were rushed to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in serious condition.
According to reports, mushrooms had grown in the backyard of Balaram Pradhan’s house in Dhubuninanda village. Family members collected and cooked the mushrooms today and ate.
Shortly after eating, four women and two children started vomiting repeatedly and their condition deteriorated. Without much delay other family members immediately shifted all six of them to Angul DHH for treatment.
