Andhra: ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ poster unveiled

Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Prasanna Sree unveiled the brochure of the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’, aimed at encouraging students to identify social problems and develop innovative solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, she said the challenge, organised under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, seeks to motivate students to identify problems in society and develop technology-based innovative solutions. Interested students can obtain details through the website sevafirst.mic.gov.in and apply by October 14. She said valuable cash prizes would be awarded to the winners. The programme will be held at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru.

Prof. Prasanna Sree urged students to utilise the opportunity and contribute to society through their ideas and innovations.

In-charge Registrar Prof. K. Ramanaeswari, Dean of Student Affairs Prof. N. Uday Bhaskar, East Godavari district programme in-charge K.V. Unnikrishna, convener Kshatriya Subrahmanya Singh and co-convener Cheerla Sitaramudu were among those present.
