Andhra Pradesh: Telugu actor Ali retires from active politics

VIJAYAWADA. Vijayawada: Actor and YSRC leader Ali has announced that he is quitting active politics forever. In a video statement released by him, Ali said, “I am no longer associated with any political party. Also, I no longer support any political party.” Ali confirmed that he is just a common man and will continue shooting for his film. Ali also announced that he will no longer join politics and said that he will cast his vote in the elections held every five years. Ali had worked as the electronic media advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government under the previous YSRC government and was expected to get an MLA/MP ticket from YSRC to contest in the 2024 general elections.
