Andhra Pradesh News: Naidu government may continue village volunteer system in Andhra Pradesh
Vijayawada. Vijayawada: Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu has said that the volunteer system has not been abolished in the state and the volunteers were temporarily removed from duty during elections. “They used to get honorarium from the government. Soon the government will review this system and we will use them for public service,” he said.
“They are making efforts to provide pension to the beneficiaries’ homes. All our promises will be fulfilled one by one and department-wise white papers will be issued,” he said. After taking oath as ministers, Ram Naidu, Dola Bala Veeranjanaya Swamy and S. Savita interacted with the media for the first time on Thursday.
Nimmala said Jagan Mohan Reddy has done a sad thing by cancelling Anna Canteen. CM Chandrababu signed the files on Thursday to restart it. He said that as part of the process of providing employment to the youth, the CM has also signed the skill census file.
We will continue the system of village volunteers. Some people have resigned and we will soon review this system and continue it, but without weakening the local organizations due to the secretariat system. He said the secretariat system will be linked to the local organizations. Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said Chandrababu has put his signature on five important files. Minister Savita said Chandrababu will transform Andhra Pradesh into Swarnim Andhra.
