Andhra Pradesh ‘Justice Sesha Sai disposed of 23,000 cases in his career’

Nelapadu (Guntur district) : Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur lauding the services extended by Justice Akula Venkata Sesha Sai recalled that he had cleared 23,000 cases during his career as the high court judge. Justice Sesha Sai retired on Friday on superannuation.

Born in Bhimavaram in West Godavari district in a farmer family, Justice Sesha Sai studied Law in CR Reddy Law College and started practice in 1987. He was appointed as the additional judge of Andhra Pradesh high court in 2013 and promoted as the judge in 2014.

In response to the felicitation, Justice Sesha Sai thanked the chief justice, earlier chief justices, judges, advocates and the Peshi officials and staff for their cooperation in dispensing justice.

Public Prosecutor Y Nagi Reddy, High Court Bar Association president K Chidambaram, AP High Court Bar Council president Dwarakanath Reddy, secretary of Law department Satya Prabahakar Rao, Registrar General Y Lakshmana Rao, several registrars, senior advocates of Bar Association, Bar Council members, representatives of AP Legal Services Authority, AP Judicial Academy and others were present.
