An unknown person abandoned a newborn baby on the roadside and fled.

Surajpur: A shocking incident that shames humanity has come to light in the district, where a one-day-old newborn baby was found abandoned in a sack and wrapped in a blanket by the roadside in a forest area. The incident occurred in Baijnathpur village under the Odgi police station area. Villagers heard the cries of a baby by the roadside and stopped to investigate. They then took the child to the Bhaiyathan Community Health Center.

At the health center, doctors examined the baby and confirmed that it was a boy and in good condition. As a precautionary measure, the baby was admitted to the district hospital in Surajpur.
