An old man lay down in front of a truck, even the police were surprised to see the dead body

Ambikapur. In Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, a middle-aged man committed suicide by lying under the wheel of a truck. The car drivers behind had seen the middle-aged man jumping under the wheels of the truck. Hearing the noise, the truck driver immediately stopped the vehicle, by which time he had been crushed to death. The deceased has been identified as Sanjeet Gupta (55), resident of Ramanujganj. The entire matter is of Gandhinagar police station. According to the information, the vehicles had stopped at the signal at Gandhi Chowk at 3:30 pm on Friday. A middle-aged man was sitting on the divider in front of the SP bungalow. As soon as the signal turned green and the vehicles started moving, he jumped under the wheels of the truck.

After much effort, the police got the body taken out from under the wheels of the truck. The body has been sent for postmortem. Gandhinagar police station in-charge Ashwani Singh said that the body has been identified as Sanjeet Gupta, resident of Ramanujganj. Eyewitnesses said that as soon as the young man jumped, a taxi driver ran to stop the truck, but by then he was crushed under the wheels. The police took the body into custody from the spot and sent it to the mortuary. Police interrogation revealed that Sanjeet Gupta used to do business in Ramanuganj. He has a business of making and selling snacks. He had come to Ambikapur Mission Chowk, the house of his daughter and son-in-law. They left home in the afternoon. According to family members, he was in depression for some time.
