An innocent girl sleeping on the roadside was raped, case registered
Nalanda. In a locality of Laheri Police Station area of Nalanda, on the night of June 15, a miscreant raped a teenager who was sleeping with her father on the roadside. When the police got information about the incident on Sunday (June 16), the teenager was questioned in a hurry. After this, the teenager was sent to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital for medical examination under the supervision of a female police officer. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the forensic team has also been called for investigation on the instructions of the senior police officer. After carrying out this incident, the miscreant fled, for whose identification the CCTV footage of the area is being searched.
A special team has also been formed at the police station level to arrest the miscreants as soon as possible. Laheri Police Station President Ranjit Kumar Rajak said that information about this incident was received on the official number, the teenager was sleeping with her father on the roadside near Mamu Bhagna turn of the area. He also told that the father runs a shop on the roadside. At present, the police is in full action and soon the miscreants will be arrested. Various CCTV footage from the crime scene to the city is being scrutinized.
DSP Nurul Haq issued a press release and said that information was received about a teenager being raped by a youth under Laheri police station. Immediately on the information, the Laheri police station in-charge, sub-divisional police officer Bihar Sharif inspected the crime scene and obtained information about the incident from the victim’s side. Evidence is being collected from the crime scene and nearby areas. The victim is being treated and medically examined at the Sadar Hospital through a female police officer. A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory has been called for investigation. A special team has been formed under the leadership of the Laheri police station in-charge to identify and arrest the criminal involved in the incident and action has been initiated.
