An appeal was made to be cautious of the ferocious dog through loudspeaker announcement, 13 people were injured due to bites

Ramanujganj. The terror of stray dogs is increasing day by day in the city. In the last four days, dogs have attacked 13 people, including two school students, three women and a four-year-old innocent child. Dogs have chased people on the streets and bit them, due to which there is an atmosphere of fear and panic in the entire city.

The injured have been immediately admitted to the Community Health Center Ramanujganj where their treatment is going on. According to doctors, most of the injured have deep wounds and there is a risk of infection in case of not getting timely treatment. The number of dogs is continuously increasing around the main areas of the city, Bazaar Chowk, Station Road, Bus Stand and School. It has become difficult for children and the elderly to go out of the house.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the municipality has appealed to the people to be alert by making announcements through loudspeakers. Despite this, no concrete or effective steps have been taken so far to catch stray dogs. The city dwellers say that due to the negligence of the city administration, they are facing danger daily. Now it remains to be seen how quickly and responsibly the administration takes action on this serious problem.
