Ammunition cache recovered, force got big success on Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border

Jagdalpur. The force has recovered arms and ammunition of Naxalites in the forest of Gadchiroli on the border of Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra border. About 6 cooker IEDs, 6 pipe bombs, gelatin wire, cordex wire and other items have been recovered. It is being told that the Naxalites were planning to carry out some major incident and hence had kept the goods dumped. But the force has foiled the plans of the Naxalites.

Actually, the police had received information that Naxalites had dumped a huge quantity of gunpowder in Tipagarh area. There is a plan to carry out some big event. After this information, police force from Gadchiroli, Maharashtra was taken out for searching on Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border. As per the information given by the informer, the soldiers reached the spot. A cache of gunpowder hidden by Naxalites among the rocks in the mountain was recovered.

Six cooker bombs, pipe bombs and other explosives have been recovered. It is being told that the police force blasted all the IEDs on the spot. The soldiers have foiled the plans of the Naxalites. Police officers said that continuous operations are being conducted against Naxalites. Even before this operation, dumped goods of Naxalites were recovered in the same area.
