Amit Shah condoles the deaths in Sikkim Avalanche

New Delhi (IANS) | Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday condoled the deaths in the avalanche in Sikkim. My deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic avalanche in Sikkim, he said in a tweet. We are closely monitoring the situation and NDRF teams will soon reach the affected area. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.

A major avalanche hit the Jawaharlal Nehru Road connecting Gangtok to Nathula in Sikkim, killing at least seven tourists and injuring 11 others, officials said.
