Amit Jogi sits on hunger strike, saddened by vandalisation of his father’s statue

Gaurela. Amit Jogi, saddened by the vandalization of his father Ajit Jogi’s statue, has gone on a hunger strike. He told in the post, “The entire area is hurt, saddened and angry by the despicable act of stealthily uprooting the statue of Chhattisgarh’s first Chief Minister Hon. Ajit Jogi from Jyotipur Chowk in Gaurela in the dark of the night and throwing it in the garbage.

This incident has proved that “Dusshasan” fearlessly commits crime in the state and “Sushasan” is confined to government files and paper ads. The statue is uprooted from the Chowk and thrown in the garbage and the government-administration does not even get a clue. “Sushasan Tihaar is not going on but Sushasan Bimaar” is going on in the state.

The people of the area have come out on the streets hurt by this incident. I will go on a hunger strike until the statue of Hon. Ajit Jogi is re-installed with respect and the culprits are caught. “Either Jogiji’s statue will be installed or my funeral procession will take place”, this has to be decided by the government now.
