Akash’s hero is in Raipur; the youth were thrilled to see Shubhanshu Shukla.

Raipur. Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who served as a pilot in the Axiom-4 mission and is a recipient of the Ashok Chakra, arrived in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, for the first time on Tuesday. He participated in the launch program of ‘Antariksh Sangwari’ (Space Companion) at the Government Higher Secondary School in Nava Raipur.

Astronaut Shubhanshu said that this was his first visit to Chhattisgarh since the mission. He inaugurated the space center today. He expressed his delight that children are being encouraged to pursue science, stating that it will be beneficial for them and for the country as well.

Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla said that there is a lack of space education in the Central India region. He emphasized its importance, stating that children need this knowledge to make informed career choices. They should be aware of how to pursue a career in science and what educational path to follow.
