Aizawl FC beats Trou FC, enters group stage of Super Cup

Manjari (IANS) | Aizawl FC beat Trou FC 1-0 at the Payyanad Stadium to advance to the group stage of the Super Cup.

Belarus striker Ivan Veras scored the match-winning goal for Aizawl FC in the 64th minute. Aizawl continued to hold on to their lead for the rest of the time while TROU FC could not find a dent in the Aizawl defence.

The first match between the two teams in the I-League ended in a 1-1 draw while TRAU won 3-1 in their hosts.
