Air India launches FogCare in winter to help rescheduling flights

New Delhi: Air India today announced that passengers traveling from Delhi IGI Airport during the winter season can reschedule or cancel their bookings without any extra cost if fog is likely to cause major delays.

Over 100 flights delayed due to dense fog at Delhi airport today, with more disruption expected during winter season. The country’s largest airlines are closely monitoring the situation.

Air India’s initiative, an extension of the previous winter’s FogCare programme, underlines the airline’s commitment to passenger convenience during adverse weather conditions.

To assist affected passengers, Air India will provide proactive assistance and simple options to reschedule or cancel tickets without additional charges.
Emphasizing the sincerity of the FogCare initiative, Rajesh Dogra, Chief Customer Experience Officer, Air India, said, “This is a sincere effort to minimize the inconvenience for guests whose flights are likely to be affected by fog. “This will also help maintain network schedule integrity.” ,
