Ahmedabad: Police caught more than 10 people gambling at Taj Hotel
In Ahmedabad, police have detained at least 10 people for allegedly gambling at the Taj Hotel. The police officer informed about this. These arrested people include the names of many prominent personalities of the city including Sankalp Group owner Kailash Goenka. These people have been caught gambling with “red and white coins”. This matter is of Wednesday night.

Let us tell you that on the basis of information received by the police, a raid was conducted at the hotel located on Sindhu Bhawan Road on Wednesday night. Police seized Rs 9.83 lakh in cash, four mobile phones worth Rs 65,000 and 186 red and white coins. The arrested persons have been identified as Kailash Goenka (57 years), Shankar Mohanbhai Patel (57 years), Hasmukh Mafatlal Parikh (56 years), Ajit Shantilal Shah (49 years), Kanubhai Ambalal Patel (58 years), Bhavini Indrajit Parikh (47 years), Pradeep Rambhai Patel (59 years), Bharatbhai Manilal Patel (59 years), Jagdish Bhagwan Desai (59 years) and Narendra Jeevanlal Patel (57 years).
The arrested people got bail
The police have registered a case against them and the matter is being investigated. However, these people were later released on bail.
