Balrampur. In Piprasot of Balrampur district, after a dispute with his wife over drinking alcohol, the husband made his 4-year-old child drink poison and then consumed poison himself. Both of them were admitted to the district hospital by their family members. Now the child has died. The father is admitted in Ambikapur Medical College Hospital, where his condition is critical. According to the information, Sahan Cherwa (24), resident of Pipsot, is addicted to drinking alcohol. He used to argue with his wife every day after drinking alcohol. On Wednesday, when he reached home after drinking alcohol, he had a dispute with his wife Sohri. When he started beating his wife, Sohari ran away and hid in someone else’s house in the village.

Sahan Cherwa also chased his wife Sohri, when she was not found, Sahan returned home. In anger, he drank poison himself and also made his four-year-old son Sushil, who was playing in the courtyard, drink poison. After this, when Sohri returned home, both of them were found unconscious in the courtyard. The villagers were informed about this. Both were brought to the district hospital with the help of 108. From there he was referred to the Medical College Hospital. Sushil Cherwa died during treatment at the Medical College Hospital. Meanwhile, Sahan Cherwa’s condition remains critical. After the death of the innocent son, the hospital post police has registered a zero crime. The child’s body has been handed over to the family after post-mortem. Balrampur police station in-charge Narendra Tripathi said that further action will be taken in the case after receiving the case diary.
