Adilabad: Students honored for qualifying for national hockey competition

Adilabad: Six students of Model Sports School-Utnoor attached to the tribal welfare department have qualified to participate in the national sub-junior hockey championship to be held in Kollam, Kerala from July 19 to 29. They were felicitated by ITDA-Utnoor Project Officer Khushboo Gupta at Utnoor on Monday.

Gupta felicitated the students Pusam Motiram, Chauhan Sairam, Athram Jagjivan, Jadhav Charan, Athram Shambhu and Rathore Dhanraj selected to participate in the national competition. She said the students have brought recognition to the district and wished them success. Tribal Welfare Department Deputy Director Dilip Kumar, Assistant Project Officer Athram Bhaskar, District Tribal Sports Officer K Parthasarathy, coach G Sunand were present.
