Adilabad: Mesram family provided financial aid to the family affected by lightning

Adilabad: Members of the Mesram family rescued a farmer couple killed by lightning in Dongargaon Village of Indervelly mandal on Tuesday by providing them financial aid of Rs one lakh.

On June 6, Anka Santosh (27) and his wife Swapna (24) of the village died on the spot when lightning struck a hut in which they had stayed to avoid getting drenched in the rain. Telangana is witnessing a decline in power demand. They were preparing their fields for sowing seeds when the incident happened.
