Actress Jayaprada’s appearance today, indecent comment case

The hearing of the indecent comment case against actress Jayaprada five years ago may be expedited. Statement of victim Jayaprada is to be recorded in the case. The court has also issued non-bailable warrants for his non-appearance for statement. But due to ill health she is not able to give statement. Hearing in the case is scheduled for Thursday. It is expected that Jayaprada may appear in the court on Thursday to record her statement.
A case is pending in Moradabad court regarding indecent language against cine star Jayaprada. Obscene remarks were made on Jayaprada during the felicitation ceremony of Azam Khan, who won from Rampur in the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. The political atmosphere heated up after the audio of the comment went viral. Apart from Azam Khan, Moradabad MP Dr. ST Hasan, Abdullah Azam, former Sambhal District President Firoz Khan, organizer Arif and former Rampur Chairman Azhar Khan were accused in the case.
The hearing of the case is going on in the court of Minority Justice MP Singh. The statement of the victim Jayaprada is to be heard in the court in the case. But she is not appearing in the court due to health related reasons. On this the court issued a non-bailable warrant against Jayaprada. Advocate Abhishek Bhatnagar says that the victim’s statement is to be heard in the court. But due to ill health she is not appearing in the court. Jaya Prada may come to the court on Thursday to record her statement. Special Public Prosecutor Mohan Lal Vishnoi says that the hearing in the case is scheduled for Thursday. The victim’s statement is to be recorded in the court.
