The special thing is that Mayor Hema Deshmukh and many Congressmen with her directly blocked the road. Due to which the movement of Khairagarh-Rajnandgaon city came to a halt. According to the police, on the complaint of Dikshansh Sahu, a resident of Bhedikala, the police has registered a case against unknown people. Police say that the complainant is a driver by profession. He was coming from Bhedikala to Rajnandgaon for an urgent work. Unknown people blocked the way near Chikhli petrol pump. Due to which he got stuck in the road blockade. Police say that the crime has been registered under 126 (2), 3 (5) BNS and investigation of the case has been started. Due to the blockade, traffic on both sides remained halted for about an hour.
Meanwhile, questions are being raised about the police action. Instead of taking action against the Congress leaders who directly blocked the road, the police have filed an FIR against unknown people.
