Action on 10 bullets, installation of modified silencer was costly

Dhamtari. On the orders of the High Court, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Prashant Thakur, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Madhulika Singh, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic Mani Shankar, orders of the Honorable High Court Bilaspur on the drivers and DJ operators causing noise pollution through traffic and police stations. Strong action is being taken for disobeying the rules, under which action was taken against 545 drivers in the month of January and Rs 17130/- summon fee was collected.In the month of February, by running a special campaign in all the police stations/posts, action was taken against 144 vehicle drivers causing noise pollution and a summon fee of Rs. 45400/- was collected, in which action was taken against 10 Bullet vehicle drivers who were driving with modified silencer and the modified silencer was confiscated.

This action will be taken continuously.Traffic Police appeals to all the general public that while helping in environmental protection, they should not use loudspeakers, nor should they modify their vehicles and drive them with pressure horns and modified silencers. During vehicle checking, vehicles should not have loudspeakers, pressure horns, modified silencers. If found, action will be taken against the drivers and the case will be presented in the Honorable Court.
