Action against Bhupesh Baghel is being taken on the basis of solid evidence: Santosh Pandey
Rajnandgaon. On the EOW registering a crime against former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the Mahadev online betting case, MP Santosh Pandey on Monday claimed that the EOW has registered a crime against the former CM on the basis of solid evidence. He said that the former CM should face and respect the judicial process. As an accused he should cooperate in the investigation of the case. MP Pandey said that the exploits of the former CM can be seen by searching Rs 508 crore on Google. In a press conference organized in a local social building, MP Pandey said that the subject of Mahadev is such that it was taken under investigation during the Congress government itself. Now that the action has moved forward, why is Congress having stomach pain?
The MP also said that the investigating agencies are authorized to take action if there is a suspect or an accused. The law does not discriminate on the basis of one’s height or position. He rejected the statement of the former CM that he has been targeted politically. The allegation of action being taken out of political malice is completely wrong.
In the press conference, former MP Madhusudan Yadav, State General Secretary Bharat Verma and State Spokesperson Neelu Sharma and other leaders justified the action of EOW and said that the role of former CM in Mahadev App will now be exposed. During this time Sachin Baghel, Santosh Aggarwal, Ramesh Patel and others were involved.
