DELHI-NCR: ACP Vivek Bhagat has issued a statement regarding the recent violent incident. He claimed that the situation had become so tense that the mob had surrounded him as well. According to the ACP, police personnel were specifically targeted during the disturbance, making it extremely challenging to maintain law and order.
ACP Vivek Bhagat stated that the police personnel on duty made every effort to bring the situation under control, but the mob’s behavior was extremely aggressive. He added that an investigation into the incident is underway; the perpetrators will be identified, and action will be taken against them in accordance with the law.

Referring to the incident, ACP Vivek Bhagat said that the situation deteriorated suddenly, and the mob surrounded the police force from all sides. According to him, the rioters specifically targeted the police personnel.
He mentioned that he too was surrounded by the mob, yet the police force tried to manage the situation while exercising restraint.
